Apples and Snakes is the Arts Council funded, national organisation for performance poetry. Formed by a group of poets in a London pub nearly 30 years ago, it now runs events and training across the UK and internationally. It needed a new brand to reflect and support this growth without losing sight of its fundamental need to engage people locally.
We developed a grass-roots, community orientated look and feel with three simple shapes representing both the sound and creativity of spoken poetry and the three facets of the charity's activity; artists, events and education.
We went on to implement the brand across the Apples and Snakes website, stationery and other core communications.
Apples and Snakes are delighted with the results and Creative Producer Lisa Mead commented: "Rosie Lee have perfectly captured what we're about and helped us tie together the different strands of our creative programme into a dynamic and cohesive whole. No mean feat!"
