I found this website that had lots of old popcorn machines and packaging.
Its probably not plausible but I really want to get one of the those really old popcorn machines for the 'film festival'.
I want to create a whole experience and somehow try and get people to 'relive' going to the cinemas in those times.
I was thinking also of ways I could promote this. I spoke to Ian from Brass about this project and he suggests that I start looking into how things were promoted then. obviously instead of the digital screens cinemas used to have bulltenin boards where film names are slid on to display what films are on
Also, poeple used to paint on walls when advertising things. on side of buildings etc
