- The Little Shop of Graphics
- Recently I pitched a brand for uni’s ‘The little shop of graphic’s.’ The shop is being set up to help raise money for final year show. Each year the new third years will take over the shop and raise money for their show.
For the brand I looked at the history of graphics. I was very intrigued at how antlers used to be engraved on (this is going as far back as there is). From this fact I created the logo below.
The concept worked along side other aspects well. For the way finding deer footprints could be used. Each member of staff could be a ‘doe’ or ‘buck’ (also symbolizing how they are indeed looking for doe and buck to create their end of year show). Looking into antler and deer gave further facts that strengthened the brand. Each year the deer’s antlers will shred and new ones grow through - this is perfect to symbolize a new year, a new class! After two presentations and a vote, the identity I pitched was chosen!
